Google Analytics app good for
Google Analytics provides incredibly powerful and meaningful data. This app is better than its ever been. Relevant information is presented on the front page.
All the detailed tracking is available in a well organized menu structure.
Think about how you use this app... I make important decisions with my team while logged into the full version working at my desk. This app is for quickly checking your data and it serves its propose well.
This is an amazing app. I have over 15 websites hooked up to analytics and the real time is a bonus. I’m able to use this data effectively. It’s reliable. Thank you google for giving the data back to the people.
I love having the analytics at my finger tips and love checking how many people are on my site. It keeps my up to date and it’s fast and accurate. I rely on it.
Add support for iPhone X, when is the firebase version of this coming?
The app is very easy to use and the user interface is designed to work with all people, even without vast technical knowledge. The app has many features and is very fast to use, since the features are well categorized.
As an user of the iPhone X, it is very annoying that the app doesnt scale for the screen thus making the app look a bit retarded.
Is it 3am and youre craving to know the latest? Are you in an argument with someone and want to ghost them real bad? The only time that it is bad to check this app is when youre driving.
Some bad moments
First, no iPhone X support. Second, the data really is not easy to get to and isn’t a clean interface. Needs improvement.
It’s amazing to me with all of its money and resources google can’t produce an iPhone X version of this app. Like come on.
I HATE THIS I TYPE THE RIGHT PASSCODE AND NAME BUT OPS LOOK WHAT HAPPENS IT DID NOT WORK
If you say any of the following:
- How many users on mobile last week? (google’s own recommended query!)
- How many users visited the website with their cell phone last week?
- What proportion of users visited the website via their mobile phone last week?
All result in the same output:
“Users for the city of Mobile” (Alabama)
I can’t believe this made it out of testing at Google.
Theres so much good info about my website contained within the Google Analytics app, but, unfortunately, its locked deep within one of the most confusing interfaces Ive ever used. Im
decent using the desktop version of Analytics, but the iOS (iPad) version of the app frustrates me every time I use it. (Oct 2017)
Im pretty horrified about what passes for good UX these days.
This app is poorly organized, hard to view important data, and presents me with mostly useless information in a confusing format. This is not a useful tool. This is a kitchen sink of features fitted into a boring design template that I can hardly use because I feel like I cant get to important data easily.
Google stop letting robots design your software. Give it some personality and make it more digestible for humans. Is this really the best you can do for a flagship product? Gmail app redux is what this is. Why does google think applying the same UX methodologies to analytics is the same as it is for gmail? They are two very different products with different needs.
